Market Turnover rose by 32% to settle at 290Mn against yesterday’s 219Mn. Market Volume rose by 63% to close the day with 11.5Mn shares exchanging hands against yesterday’s 7Mn. Safaricom Plc, Kenya Power & Lighting Co’ and Kenya Commercial Bank Plc were the most actively traded counters, with 7.3Mn, 955,700 and 678,400 shares exchanging hands respectively.
The NSE All share index was up by 0.29 while NSE20 share index dropped by 10.22 points to close the day at 157.62 and 28889.19 points respectively.
The Shilling realized zero change, closing the day at 100.99 against the dollar.
