Market turnover retreated to 517Mn with an 18% drop from yesterday’s turnover of 631Mn. Market volume dropped as well with 16Mn shares traded as compared to yesterday’s 26Mn with Safaricom and Equity Bank Plc recording majority of the activities with 8.5Mn and 3.2Mn shares traded as at end of trading today.
The All share index and the NSE20 index were down 1.70 and 11.30 points to close at 156.30 and 2840.86 points respectively.
The Shilling weaken slightly against the dollar today to close today at 100.96.
